We hope to encourage females and minorities to enter the world of both science and technology, helping more U.S. students gain higher education. We also wish to prepare better qualified workers for our nation\u2019s industries!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:0px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center has-very-light-gray-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-background-color has-text-color has-background\" style=\"font-size:26px\"><strong>Here&#8217;s how we work to serve the educational community:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:0px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>We provide hands-on workshops for teachers with complete lesson plans and many materials. Most workshops even offer PLU credit for teacher recertification!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Assisting teachers by integrating technology into their teaching and student-directed activities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>We also provide resources which can be viewed by teachers to further assist their lessons.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>We give students the opportunity for students to go on hands-on science field trips based on Georgia Standards of Excellence for 15,000 students, K-5th grades, each school year.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li> Science fairs, Science Bowls, Science Olympiads, and other similar competitions and special events are all sponsored by STEM.
